We Make it Easy for You

Selecting the right countertop for your kitchen is easy when you work with the professionals at Pierce Laminated Products.

It is a simple four step process from your first visit to our showroom to the day your kitchen is beautifully transformed after the new countertops are installed.

Step 1: Style and Materials

If you are replacing existing countertops, bring in a sketch of your current countertop layout to our showroom; this will help determine the best style of countertops and materials.  We have Corian, Mystera, Avonite and several other brands of solid surface to show you.  We also have Formica, Wilsonart and several other brands of plastic laminate for you to choose from.
Once you select a material to use, we will then show you the many ways we can fabricate your tops by carefully assessing the best color choices, seam locations, edge styles and back splash options.  Our staff will prepare quotes with options for built in sinks and installation.  These prices will be a total for the job, not a confusing per square foot price where you’re not entirely sure what is included.  The quote you receive is the total for the entire job, from start to finish.

Step 2: Measure

We then schedule a job site visit.  Our sales staff will contact you within 48 hours to set an appointment to measure your countertops.  Please remove everything from your tops so we can get accurate dimensions.  We will also check the corners to make sure they are square.  After we have all of the measurements, the sales associate will discuss the job with you to make sure we have everything correct.  He will explain the colors, seams, the edge and backsplash styles and the installation process with potential dates.  At this time we will collect a 30 percent deposit with the balance due upon completion of the job.

Step 3: Fabrication

Our shop then manufactures your tops from start to finish.  We do not buy sections of tops and seam them together.  We custom make your countertops using our hot press method which allows us to make the corners seamless and make precise coved end splashes.  As the tops near the completion stage, our foreman will call to set up an installation date.

Step 4: Installation

The removal of your old tops and installation of your new tops will all be done same day to minimize the amount of clean-up and inconvenience.  Before we arrive, you will need to remove everything from your lower cabinets for two reasons.  First, we will need to get into the cabinets to remove the old tops and fasten the new tops.  Second there will be some dust and dirt that will fall into the lower cabinets.  You will then simply wipe out the cabinets without having to wash all of the dishes.  When our crew arrives in the morning, they will introduce themselves and discuss any job site conditions and an approximate time for completion.  When finished, they will present the job to you with a sign off form and collect the final payment.
